COVID-19 Day 551
Well, Truth-Be-Told, I was hoping this wouldn’t happen with this HVC Broadleaf specimen… I don’t know what it is about HVC cigars lately, but the draw on most of the HVC samples I’ve smoked has been pretty snug including this one…
From this snug draw, of this tightly packed HVC First Selection Limited Edition Broadleaf, I was able to get earthy tobacco flavors of espresso, cocoa, leather, and a retrohale of black pepper that thankfully hit the spot.
At halfway point and Eureka, the draw is improving slightly… providing easier access to those tobacco flavors I mentioned… still going strong.
I’m thinking I may have pulled this from the TupperDor too early, but for a “Premium” cigar costing $11.25, I’d think it would be ready to perform… I guess not. We’ll try it again in a few months to see if anything has changed especially with the tight draw.
