E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro Robusto Gordo

12/22/2019
Dominican Republic, E.P. Carrillo, E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro, Mexican San Andrés Oscuro First time today with the E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro by way of Jeff Martinez at Sellwood Cigar in Portland, Oregon.

Wow! Right off the bat with my first few puffs, I’m impressed. I have a good feeling about this Oscuro wrapped cigar.

Through a perfect draw that has a slight bit of resistance, deep rich smoke of woody chocolate and black pepper flavors are delivered along with a retrohale that that has a soft black pepper spice for a luxurious finish.

At the second third creamy leather joins the flavor party… this E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro is sailing along very smoothly presenting me with most of the flavors that I seek in a cigar.

Almost past the halfway point, I’m detecting something that reminds me of BBQ wood smoke, in a very pleasant way… what a surprise.

I’m at the last third and I’m going to just “Chill” with this E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro and daydream about the other one I have resting in the #SakamotoTupperDor… or, I should start looking for my next batch to purchase.

The E.P. Carrillo Selección Oscuro is a definite winner for my TupperDor.
