E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Divinos (Toro) by EP Carrillo Cigars

COVID-19 Day 365:
Divinos, Dominican Republic, E.P. Carrillo, E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut, Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, EP Carrillo Cigars, Toro Oh, Me-Oh-My! This Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapped New Wave Connecticut Divinos (Toro) by EP Carrillo Cigars was quite a surprise today! I had received this generous gift the day prior (Sunday 03.21.21) from BOTL Christopher Wilson aka @SoilChemCigars.

I wasn’t expecting much after Chris’s comments. After all, I know that with most Connecticut Shade cigars it’s hard finding a good balance of flavor for what is typically is a mild strength smoke.

Through an open draw, copious amounts of Butter and Cream tobacco flavors came over my palate with a slight white pepper retrohale that maybe carried a bit of cedar with it. At the second third, Leather and dry cedar join the party and I’m diggin’ this cigar. At the final third, I’m wanting this New Wave Connecticut to last a little longer even though I’ve been enjoying this for the last couple of hours… I can’t wait to tell Chris.

I’ll smoke a creamy cigar any day of the week! I think I’ll try some of the other Vitolas of the E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Divinos (Toro) by EP Carrillo Cigars.
