COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 620: 1.75-Mile Cigar
Brillantes, Dominican Republic, E.P. Carrillo, E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut, Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, EP Carrillo Cigars, Robusto, Toro Oh me, Oh my… I have to put this Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapped E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Brillantes (Robusto) by EP Carrillo Cigars in the permanent Cigar-Rotation for my morning Cigar-Walk more often!

I don’t know what the cigar reviewers are saying about this E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut, but it has proven itself to be more than the Connecticut cigar blends of yesteryear bringing.

This morning’s Cigar-Walk with this New Wave Connecticut, Brillantes (Robusto) brought me creamy buttery notes of cedar, leather, with cookies and cream. I don’t normally retrohale when I’m outdoors… the condensation in my nostrils on these cold morning treks doesn’t always provide the best results.

Anyway, bottom-line… I need to pull this cigar out to come out and play with me more often!

Until next time…

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 436: 1.75-Mile Cigar
Divinos, Dominican Republic, E.P. Carrillo, E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut, Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade, EP Carrillo Cigars, Toro Well, it was a short and sweet Cigar Walk with this E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Brillantes (Robusto) by EP Carrillo Cigars… and it was my first time with this Vitola.

What a difference a couple of millimeters make… this was a different experience from the Toro Vitola I smoked in March (2021). The Robusto had a pretty open draw that delivered light dry smoke that didn’t hit the buttery creaminess that I had experienced before.

Oh well, I have a few more… let’s see how she smokes in a month or so. I just might have to stock up on the Toros instead.
