COVID-19 Day 433
I’m not that familiar with the Cohiba USA Brand of cigars, so when BOTL Steven Beachner presented this gift to me, I was more than happy to accept it and smoke it today… I didn’t know what to expect!
The opening first few puffs were of the dry and bitter kind at first but soon gave way to creamy smooth and chewy smoke, after a very brief warming up period… of dry almost bitter tastes.
Never fear… Only a few moments later the Sweet Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro tobacco flavors come forward joined by coffee and leather with a cocoa finish… The retrohale serves up some nice soft black pepper spice.
This cigar is very enjoyable full of dark rich Maduro flavors.
I don’t think I would purchase this cigar at its full Retail ($20.00-$24.00, MSRP) price, but if you were to find it at the correct price, I’d go for it! There are plenty of great and affordable cigar blends that offer more complexity and transitions.
