COVID-19 Day 367:
I’ve wanted to spark this Vitola of the CLE Corojo (11/18 Figurado) by C.L.E. Cigars ever since I tried the Robusto version of this last August (2020). While the Robusto Vitola earned a marginal “OK” from my experience (light dry tobacco flavors and very fast smoking cigar), this Vitola is supposed to behave a little longer than “Quick”!…
With both Vitolas, I received and welcomed through an open draw slightly sweet cedar and leather tobacco flavors with a slightly spicy retrohale that complimented the initial first puffs.
At the second third, creaminess tries to become a component of this experience and I nod at its noble attempt… The one thing I will appreciate about this CLE Corojo 11/18 is that it did last a respectable 2-hours, much longer than its smaller Robusto Vitola. But is that enough to qualify for the regular Cigar Rotation? … Probably not…
Oh well, this is another cigar that I’d rather not purchase again, but if offered, I wouldn’t turn it down.
