It had been so long that I had almost forgotten how good the affordable Charter Oak Maduro by Foundation Cigars are… In a hashtag, #SoGood!
So, from the boss of Connecticut Broadleaf aka Nick Melillo, let’s fire this up.
Earthy chocolate and leather are the flavors right off the bat have shown up for the start of this cigar with a retrohale that has some spice to it. The mouth-feel from the smoke is chewy and oily through a perfect draw.
At the second third, everything is humming along and I’m happy just to sit back and enjoy this experience.
I’m at the last third with a perfect draw and razor sharp burn and I’m just simply enjoying this often-overlooked smooth cigar with its chewy smoke. I’ve to start keeping this in mind as I seek cigars with a dark rich flavor profile.
Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper Mmmmm, Good!
Let’s be real, Cigars can be an expensive hobby. Now, acclaimed blender/creator Nick Melillo from Foundation Cigars has produced and manufactured an outstanding affordable “value” cigar; The Charter Oak by Foundation Cigars.
Opening cold draw; cocoa and hay/grass, and a mouthful of smokey goodness that only Connecticut Broadleaf can deliver followed by almonds, coffee, and leathery earth.
I’m lovin’ my visit with the Charter Oak Maduro Toro
Life is Good
My first time with the Charter Oak Maduro. I picked it up at Timber Valley Tobacco and then headed to Redtail Golf Center for some putting practice
