So, the jokes on me; it’s a little dark in the Cigar Lounge at The Chamber at 9900.

After I straight cut the Charter Oak Petite Corona cigar, I exclaimed to myself that the draw was tighter than I remembered; that’s because I forgot it had a closed cap that I couldn’t see from my aged eyes or, it’s too dark to see in here.

The draw is perfect as usual producing lots of Connecticut Broadleaf smoke and my sought after flavors, not to mention the pepper spice that’s singing my nose hairs as I type.

These are probably the best things I have for an affordable flavorful cigar. The size of the petite corona was perfect for my limited timeline today. I have these in the Toro vitola too for when I have a deep leather chair to sink into.

Stay Smokey
Stay Chill

Charter Oak, Connecticut Broadleaf, Foundation, Nick MelilloThis was my second little Charter Oak Maduro cigar and I really enjoyed this quick morning smoke. Lot’s of flavor in a short time span — Perfect with my morning coffee

I’ve been back enjoying the Cigar Hobby for a little over 6-months now and I’ve been having a blast of sanity and fun trying all the new cigars (mostly small batch) that weren’t around when I was smoking 20-years ago.

That brings me to this little gem; the size was of my choosing for my first time experience with the Foundation’s Charter Oak Maduro in a 42-gauge stick. I am learning from those who know things that there are secrets to be unfolded in smaller size ring gauges as the cigar wrapper has a better chance of arriving on your palette.

I liked this Charter Oak Maduro from the King of the Broadleaf Nick Melillo. It’s a solid stick that gave me what I came for; Broadleaf Wonderment.

I’ll be stocking larger sizes soon.
