COVID-19 Day 534
Starting out through a snug but not too snug draw, my first experience with the Carlos Toraño Noventa Santiago (Robusto) begins… smooth smoke of creamy leather with a retrohale that matches the leather tobacco flavors so far.
Finishing the second third and I can’t say much has changed… maybe a touch of vanilla to join the leather dominant tobacco flavors. The retrohale has ramped up a bit providing some welcomed pepper spice.
At the last third, not much had changed and lacked any transitions that I could detect except that this last portion gradually evolved into a hot mess of mushy tobacco flavors that signaled the end of this cigar for me.
I think these Carlos Toraño Noventas can be found online for around $4.00-5.00… this specimen smoked like a $5.00 cigar… Not bad, Not great.
