Buffalo Trace in Robusto by General Cigar

06/13/2022
COVID-19 Day 812
Brazilian Arapiraca, Buffalo Trace Cigar, Dominican Republic, Ecuadorian Sumatra, General Cigar, Meier & Dutch, Robusto Well, I finally got a chance to spark this Robusto Vitola of the Buffalo Trace cigar by General Cigar… and it was quite different than it’s bigger Churchill sister… this means that I’ll have to smoke another to confirm my findings…

From a very open draw (maybe I dry boxed this too long) came dry smoke and tobacco flavors quite different than what I was hoping for. The retrohale is a punchy pepper spice.

Overall, I’m attributing this disappointment to “Operator Error”. I’ll make sure the next one is properly humidified… and maybe I’ll smoke the Toro version first.

Stay Tuned…
Stay Smoky
Stay Chill
