COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 84: 3.5-Mile Cigar
Buffalo TEN, Dominican, Dominican Negrito, El Artista Cigars, Mexican San Andres, Toro I’ve had this Buffalo TEN by El Artista Cigars since September 2019 and I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on Instagram lately so I decided today’s Cigar Walk was the day to smoke my last of three of these that I had purchased back then.
Come to find out, I may have been ahead of my time prior to my “Official” Cigar Walk Workouts… as I was researching the Buffalo Ten; I came across the “Cigar Aficionado’s” headline to their article… “El Artista To Launch Bargain-Priced Buffalo Ten” … “Tabacalera El Artista is prepared to launch a new value-priced brand called Buffalo Ten. The new cigar will come in only one size: a 6 inch by 50 ring gauge Toro, and will retail for a mere $4.50.”
This seems to be a match made in heaven from what I experienced on this morning’s walk… this is a complex blend for the money, the Mexican San Andrés wrapper leads the way in the flavor department with the Dominican Negrito binder and rich filler tobacco make this a great “Budget” cigar… and ONLY because it delivers!
I need to purchase some more! I just smoked my last one.

Buffalo TEN, Dominican, Dominican Negrito, El Artista Cigars, Mexican San Andres I don’t know if it’s the cup of hot chocolate I’m drinking, but my first puffs of the Buffalo TEN by El Artista Cigars this morning are giving me earthy cocoa and cinnamon with retrohale of cocoa and baking spices through a dry but perfect draw and razor-sharp burn.

At the halfway point and I’m not detecting any major transitions, but for $5.50 I’m not going to ask too much from this dandy of a cigar that’s affordable and good.

I’m at the last inch and a half of the Buffalo TEN and it is getting a little too bitter for my taste, so I’ll end it at 90 minutes of smoking time. This is a dandy cigar for the money. I think I’ll keep a few on hand in the TupperDor from now on.
