Black Works Killer Bee Green Hornet by Black Works Studio Cigars

COVID-19 Day 635
Black Works Studio, Candela, Ecuadorian Maduro, Green Hornet, James Brown, Nicaragua, Petite Corona I’ve smoked many cigars by Black Works Studio Cigars; as a matter of fact, I dedicated a week almost a year ago to this date where I smoked thru the Black Works Studio Cigar line by smoking one every day taking notes along the way… and overall, I enjoyed them… however, my initial blink is that after the first third of all the samples I smoked, they all started tasting the same.

Black Works Studio, James Brown, Nicaragua, Black Label Trading Company Cigars Today’s long-awaited choice in this Black Works “Killer Bee” Green Hornet by Black Works Studio Cigars reinforced that thought and findings.

Once lit came bold rich earthy tobacco flavors of dark coffee, cocoa, and leather with a respectable black pepper blast that continued through the retrohale… the initial performance was spot-on, although I did have to snip off a little more off the cap after punching through for my first efforts. I had noticed an uneven burn and a draw that was more snug than usual, so I opted to cut off a little more off the cap and that did the trick. Just a side-note, once I clipped more off the cap I was able to see several small stems that appeared to be affecting the draw and burn issues.

Anyway, continuing with this powerhouse of a cigar, impressive rich tobacco flavors come to me as I mentally express several “Wow’s” to myself. I make a note to myself to slow down with this tiny Titan or I’ll be on the floor from the strength of this little thing.

Overall, these are fun cigars to smoke if you’re in the mood for something that will knock your socks off for a “Muy Macho” experience.

Black Works Studio, Candela, Ecuadorian Maduro, Green Hornet, James Brown, Nicaragua Frist-time with the Black Works Green Hornet (Killer Bee) today

Once lit, woody cocoa, and black pepper are the first flavors that arrived on my palate for this first-time adventure with a well-rounded black pepper flavor on the retrohale offering little if any spice.

At the second third, leather joins the flavor party… making way for a perfect profile of the cigar flavors that I seek. The deep rich creamy smooth earthy tobacco flavors of the Black Works Green Hornet are making me smile. The retrohale is on the mild side but full of flavors.

At the last third, I decided that I was going to sit back and enjoy the rest of this cigar in my overstuffed leather chair and find Peace.

This was a finger burner for sure! and Yes, I’ll be on the hunt for more of these little gems!
