Black Crown by Black Crown Cigars

05/10/2023
Black Crown, Black Crown Cigars, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Honduras, Toro
The first 3-Mile Cigar-Walk of the year in 2023 this morning with this generous gift from BOTL Curran Fouts aka @PDXTravels in the Black Crown by Black Crown Cigars.

This was a full-bodied trek with this Ecuadorian (Sumatra) Oscuro wrapped 60-Gauge beast… Tasty!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this “Affordable” cigar except for the 60-gauge girth of this beast.

Actually, though, I can’t wait to smoke it again… I think next time I’ll take it inside.

Until next time…

COVID-19 Day 887
Black Crown, Black Crown Cigars, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Honduras, Toro I was looking forward to smoking this Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapped Black Crown cigar by Black Crown Cigars; hoping that this “Affordable” gigantic of a cigar would make the cut. Let’s see what she says…

For the first few initial puffs, I was trying to figure out how to get my lips around this gigantic Black Crown and get a decent draw from this girthy cigar.

Nothing outstanding to report at the start… the draw was incredibly open until I figured out how to get my whole mouth on the cap end that allowed a proper draw.

In the second third, I had burn issues that needed several touch-ups… maybe I need to let this rest more. At the end of the second third, I was able to detect some of those Sumatra tobacco flavors I was hoping for but I ran out of time, so I had to extinguish this inaugural smoking journey with this Black Crown by Black Crown Cigars.

Next time I’m looking forward to staying with it long enough so I can retrieve those Ecuadorian Sumatra Umami tobacco flavors that I was looking forward to.

Smoke Time: 2 hours (this is a 3-hour cigar)

Until next time…

Stay Smoky
Stay Chill
