COVID-19 Day 850
I recently purchased the three (3) new releases of the Tatuaje Tuxtla offerings, the Tatuaje Avion 13 Tuxtla, Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla, and the Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla that I intend to smoke on consecutive days… because that’s what I do for kicks.
Yesterday I started with the “Original” Ecuadorian Habano (Maduro) wrapped Tatuaje Avion 11 to compare to the Tatuaje Avion 13 Tuxtla that I’m smoking today… and, it was quite a different experience.
From the get-go, earthy cedar, dark coffee, and pepper with a black pepper retrohale through a decent draw.
In the second third, some Maduro sweetness starts to come through alongside the dark coffee and pepper tobacco flavors with a leather finish. The retrohale is a full-on black pepper experience.
By the time I got to the last third, I was having issues with having to keep relighting this Avion 13 Tuxtla… I don’t know why. Anyway, this for me was a full-on black pepper experience.
Tomorrow, I’m smoking the Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla, so let’s see what that brings.
