COVID-19 Day 849
After a delicious cold draw of rich leather, I was already excited to spark this cigar.
… And the payoff…creamy earthy pepper and cocoa… with a bit of sweetness. The retrohale offered some well-rounded soft pepper flavors… not the spicy pepper blast one might expect from a Don Pepin blend.
Creamy chewy smoke is the attribute that impresses me so far with this cigar, especially with the chocolate tobacco flavors on the finish. I’m enamored with the mild retrohale and I’m making it a habit with almost every puff.
Toward the last third, this Avion 11 started to become soft and mushy at the end with a more peppery retrohale. This was a long-lasting smoke, so I think I’ll revisit this again in maybe a smaller Vitola
