COVID-19 Day 381:
Well, Glory Be! Finally, to end my day, I’ve wanted to try these Ashton Aged Maduro cigars and come to find out, they’ve been under my nose all this time… but come to find out, I forgot to bring my cigars with me this morning. I guess it was a good thing I was hanging out at Sellwood Cigar then…
After a quick visit to the Sellwood Cigar humidor, I finally get to spark this Ashton Aged Maduro #10 (Robusto) by Ashton Cigars. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was hoping for something deep rich, and “Sassy” from this Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped almost coal-black beauty!
From my first time with this Ashton Aged Maduro came open and airy dry smoke on my first puffs… not quite what I was expecting. What I did get were dry earthy spice, cocoa, raisins, and slightly sweet nuts.
I’ve got my original two Ashton Aged Maduros that I purchased so; I’m looking forward to revisiting this cigar to see what if anything will change from this experience.
