Arturo Fuente Chateau Sun Grown (Robusto) by Arturo Fuente Cigars

I suppose it shouldn’t surprise anyone that this Arturo Fuente Chateau Sun Grown (Robusto) by Arturo Fuente Cigars starts out with cedar tobacco flavors since 3/4 of it came wrapped in a cedar sleeve.

Once lit, earthy tobacco flavors of pepper and dark coffee soon follow from a slightly snug draw… I’m contemplating giving it another snip to open the draw up a bit.

At the second third, I had a surprise appearance of some subtle leather notes that transcended to the retrohale as well… and I’m very happy about that. About 45 minutes later and I’m almost to the end. The remaining tobacco flavors have been nice smooth leather flavors and I’m not complaining it one bit… I wonder what a larger Vitola be like?

Today was my First Time with this Arturo Fuente Chateau Sun Grown (Robusto) by Arturo Fuente Cigars. I kinda knew what to expect… after all, this is an Arturo Fuente Cigar that consistently rolls flavorful and well-constructed Dominican cigars.

So, my notes will be short here since I have another Fuente Chateau Sun Grown in the TupperDor that I’ll pull out in a couple of months or so. Today’s experience once lit through a perfect and easy draw delivered natural tobacco flavors of cedar, earthy coffee, and leather that continued on to the retrohale.

I was perfectly content to sit back and relax with this Chateau since it was my first time. I’ll pay more attention with the next one.
