Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernández, Rosado Claro Corojo ’99, Signature SelectionA snip and a straight-cut and I’m on my way. This is my second Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection Cigar. A perfect smoky draw follows with familiar creamy earthy, malty chocolate and leather… and a retrohale that sings to me.

The thing that’s different with this particular cigar is that the flavors aren’t so much in your face instead, more subdued, well-rounded and balanced; but the pepper spice let’s you know you’re awake in a sassy kind of way

I’m at the end of the first third after 30-minutes… a rich creamy, malty, earthy, leather and spicy experience so far and I can only expect more of the same through the finish with this razor sharp char line.

This quote reminds me of what this cigar is to me. I don’t know what the female equivalent would be to this quote, but I’m sure there’s one out there… I’ll blame it on the special half-leaf of the Medio Tiempo in the filler.

“…To keep a man, you must be a maid in the living room, a cook in the kitchen and a whore in the bedroom.” – Jerry Hall’s Mother

Stay Chill
Stay Smokey

What a pleasant surprise or maybe it shouldn’t have been. This is a beautiful cigar from the folks at Aganorsa Leaf and Casa Fernandez; what could go wrong?

This started out like most of my dedicated morning sticks, not too much stuff going on to allow me to ease into my first cigar of the day. Well, after the first 3rd or so, my eyes lit up with “That’s More Like It”… complex nuances start to arrive.

I think it’s that Medio Tiempo filler they snuck in.
Bravo! This deserves to be smoked undisturbed.
