COVID-19 Day 447
Today I decided to blaze this new-for-me Vitola in this Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection Maduro in Toro. In reviewing my notes, I’ve smoked the Robusto and the Corona Gordo…
Once sparked, I receive those luscious earthy chocolate and oaky tobacco flavors with a mild and well-rounded black pepper spice on the retrohale.
At the second to halfway point, the chocolate tobacco flavors become more dominant and I’m not complaining about that with leather tobacco flavors now joining the party. I also can detect some floral notes on the retrohale now.
Overall, this is an awesome and “Special” cigar… the only gripe I have is the struggles I was having with the draw. I seem to recall a similar experience with the Corona Gordo, but I kind of expect that from time to time with those “Slim” cigars and I witnessed a similar smoking experience from another BOTL at the Sellwood Cigar lounge a couple of weeks ago with the Corona Gordo Vitola… Hmmm
I might have to grab a Robusto to see what that Vitola brings…
