Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernandez Miami Corojo

I think my relationship with Aganorsa Leaf tobacco was and has been a “Love at First Puff” affair… and that includes this awesome cigar!

After a Punch-Cut on the cap of this Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernandez Miami Corojo in Toro, a perfect draw comes to me with just the correct amount of resistance providing those tobacco flavors of earthy woody cedar notes, cocoa, coffee, dried fruit sweetness, and leather. I’m a happy boy!

 At the second third, I know the creaminess will continue to be my dreamy sidekick for the next while as I move forward with this delicious cigar. This Aganorsa Corojo isn’t a cigar that you’ll experience a lot of transitions; at least for me, but I find that I’m deeply satisfied basking in the leathery, nutty Corojo goodness that this cigar provides.

I can’t wait to smoke it again… Until next time…

COVID-19 Day 209:
Yes, I’m smoking the Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernandez Miami Corojo Back-to-Back today to compare and contrast this newish (purchase last week) to the “Aged” beauty that I smoked a couple of days ago… Let’s see what she brings…

There were no disappointments at all with this “newish” specimen just purchased from Sellwood Cigar in contrast to the “Aged” Aganorsa Leaf Corojo (Toro) that I smoked a couple of days ago.

What I do know and can share with you is that the extra two-years of TupperDor time on the Aganorsa Leaf Corojo definitely transcending it to another level… enough so that I’m going to purchase another box so that I can let it sit and “Age” alongside it’s older sisters.

Wow!, Wow!, Wow!, Wow!, Wow!… Deeper, Richer, Fuller, and Smoky! What a find and a treat to find a box of Aganorsa Leaf Corojos in my TupperDor!

I will probably have to purchase another box just so I can keep these around a bit longer!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 107: 2.5-Mile Cigar
I just discovered that I had a box of these Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernandez Miami Corojo in Toro hiding at the bottom of my TupperDor.

What a find! The Casa Fernandez Miami Aganorsa Leaf Corojo is a Nicaraguan Puro made in Miami with an Aganorsa Corojo wrapper around Aganorsa binder and filler. This made for the perfect Cigar Walking companion this morning for a full 2.5-Miles… I was hoping it would last a little longer…

Now that I know I have these on hand, I’ll be enjoying more of them shortly.

A punch-cut is in order this morning for the box-pressed Aganorsa Leaf, Casa Fernandez Miami Natural cigar. I think I’ll make this my “standard” practice with oversized or box-pressed cigars from now on.

Once opened up, sweet earthy cocoa welcomes me on the cold draw. Let’s light this up… volumes of thick chewy smoke fill my mouth and nose with a little pepper spice that I seem to have been missing the past couple of days with other smokes that I’ve had.

I have nothing but good things to say about this cigar, and I should since I purchased a box from Sellwood Cigar last August (2018). Everything about this cigar is in my wheelhouse for that “First” morning cigar or just anytime you want to relax and know you are going to experience some good Aganorsa Leaf tobacco.
