Today, we’re trying the Padron 3000 Series Maduro. After a not so great experience with the Padron 3000 Series Natural, this would be an obvious next cigar to try, especially after a similar experience with the Padron 2000 Series Maduro the other day. I’m guessing that I might have to purchase a Padron Series sampler to vet these side-by-side.

Hold on, stop the presses; this Padron 3000 Series Maduro Robusto is going to be close. I had a very open draw at the start, very similar to the Padron 2000 Series Maduro Robusto. The big difference is that once I got past the first third, all the flavors I had experienced with the Padron 4000 Maduro showed up. #SakamotoHappy!

I am experiencing this with a couple of other cigars that I know I like, I’m just trying to find the correct size that will produce the “Sweet Spot” in the cigar that I’m looking for. It seems like the longer (more tobacco) the smoke has to travel, the more flavors that are immediately available. I think I’ve found it now with these Padron Series Cigars. Tomorrow will tell.
