COVID-19 Day 290:
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 241: 3.5-Mile Cigar
I don’t know what more needs to be said about this “Box Worthy” Tatuaje 10th Anniversary cigar other than it was great to get outside in the cool morning air on this morning’s Cigar Walk with this beauty!
I got a whole 3.5-Miles from this dandy right down to the Nub!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 135: 3.0-Mile Cigar
From cappuccino aromas to earthy, leathery, and cocoa tobacco flavors… what’s not to love about the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur (Robusto). You can probably guess that this is a permanent cigar in my Cigar Rotation.
I have to discipline myself not to smoke these all the time since these are not the most affordable cigars in the TupperDor with MSRP at $10.00… but definitely Box Worthy.
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 135: 2.25-Mile Cigar
I’m down to my last Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur (Robusto). It’s time to purchase another box!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 100: 3.0-Mile Cigar
If there were ever a cigar that hit the spot the very first time I smoked it, it would be the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur (Robusto). I’m always looking forward to smoking this when the opportunity arises.
This is a regular cigar in the Sakamoto Cigar Rotation
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 58: 3.0-Mile Cigar
I couldn’t wait to fire up this Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur in Robusto today. I know I can always count on (or at least have so far) on smooth mouthfuls of Cocoa, Leather, and Coffee through a perfect draw. I always seem to forget too, about the pepper spice “Kick” on the retrohale.
At the halfway point the flavors have ramped up a teeny bit and the spice has tamed itself on the retrohale allowing me a full-on smoking experience without the worry of singing my nostrils.
I’m ready for this cigar, the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur anytime, day or night. This is a delicious cigar
As you can probably tell, the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur is and remains to be one of my favorite discoveries in 2019 and continues to be one of my favorite “Go-To” cigars when I crave deep rich “Flavor”.
One of these days… you’d think I’d get the hang of these beautiful Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Cigars and their closed foot. I got fooled again today. After a snip and a cut, the draw was perfect delivering cocoa and earthy leather on my cold draw. I can’t wait to fire this up.
Once lit, again, I’m in my happy zone with this fabulous cigar. Creamy earth, cocoa, and leather are going to keep me company with just the correct amount of spice on the retrohale. I’m in the zone with a perfect draw and razor-sharp burn line.
As I’m approaching the end of the second third, coffee has ramped up to espresso as thick smoke delivers more of the same flavors only ramped up with a lasting oily chewy finish that coats my tongue for a lasting flavor.
I think you have a pretty good idea of my fondness for the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur cigar. This is definitely Box Worthy
I keep forgetting that the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary cigar has a closed foot, so be warned or advised … your tight draw might be because of the…
A snip and a cut and my cold draw delivered a blast of milk chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate… I love chocolate. After all, it’s one of the major food groups.
Once lit, my the Tatuaje 10th Anniversary cigar delivers delicious flavors in my wheelhouse with volumes of chewy rich smoke or earth, leather, cocoa, and coffee with a perfect retrohale of balanced black pepper spice … not overpowering … #SakamotoHappy
Halfway through and flavors ramp up a little and continue to provide the smoking experience that I will come to expect from this delicious cigar.
Well, I’m not going to hold today’s smoking experience against this glorious and beautiful cigar. After a straight-cut clip and a snip, I realized that I was tugging on a closed foot cigar… I forgot or I was too excited to get this cigar going.
I had my cheeks fully inverted for a couple of minutes of effort to get this Tatuaje 10th Anniversary cigar blazing. Hmmm, I start to panic; I just purchased a box of these… oh well. I acquire a sharp toothpick and start to gently poke several 3/4-length toothpick perforations in the hopes that will help. It does eventually toward the last half, or it corrected itself.
Fear not, everything finally arrived and provided the enjoyment I was looking forward to. I could have done with less of the fussing around though.
This was my first time with the Tatuaje 10 Year Anniversary cigar. I didn’t realize at the time I smoked this beautifully constructed cigar that it was this blend that put Tatuaje on the cigar-map with top 25 Cigar of the Year honors and an impressive 90-rating, and that was over 10-years ago. The Tatuaje 10 Year Anniversary is produced at the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua vs. Miami.
Today, I found out that this cigar is a top-notch winner and will have a place in my TupperDor.
Here we go:
As I mentioned earlier, this cigar is a beautifully constructed cigar with a very smooth Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that produced a cold draw of sweet cocoa and leather from this hefty cigar.
Once lit, I almost forgot to take notice as I was posting this shot on Instagram. I’m already an inch along with this very luxurious smoke. The draw is perfect providing mouthfuls of deliciously chewy creamy smoke. I hope these are priced correctly because I would happily add this to my TupperDor collection. Thank you Ralph Sumo.
Halfway and I’m really enjoying my first experience with this Tatuaje 10 Year Anniversary cigar, maybe it’s because I haven’t smoked a cigar in a couple of days, but this is glorious… rich creamy cappuccino and leather take over my senses… and the spice is just right; hanging out in the background just like any good seasoning should… #SakamotoHappy.
A cigar that provides Coffee, Chocolate, Leather, Earth all day long deserves my attention. I didn’t notice any major transitions with this cigar, and that’s fine by me. I’m Really digging this smooth chewy smoke, a perfectly constructed cigar with a perfect draw and razor char line.
I have nothing but accolades for this cigar except maybe the price, but what do you expect from a premium quality cigar.
This is box worthy
